Glenda has been involved with dog training and instructing for the past 18 years.
Glenda purchased a Collie (Rough) her first pure bred dog, in 1989, when she joined an obedience dog club and the Victoria Canine Association, Since then she has owned and trained an Australian Kelpie, a German Shepherd Dog, a rescue Sheltie.
Her current dogs are two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers whom she competes with in the show ring and the obedience ring. She also participates in the VCA Therapy dog program with Louella.
She has competed in disciplines of the dog world including showing, obedience, endurance and tracking, earning titles with her dogs in all of these disciplines. Most importantly her dogs are members of the family and live as part of the household.
She has been a volunteer instructor for two large public dog clubs and became an accredited instructor of the Victorian Canine Association in 1996.
Being an avid student of all things regarding dogs she frequently attends training and breed workshops and lectures to continue to broaden her knowledge.
She is a current volunteer member of the Victorian Canine Association Education and Promotions committee and is active in promoting purebred dogs and all affiliated dog sports for all dogs.
She is passionate about dogs and dog training and helping people enjoy their dogs.
